The TIRIS team: at the heart of project coordination and development

TIRIS – Toulouse Initiative for Research’s Impact on Society, relies on a dedicated team to steer and support its implementation. Comprising specialised programme managers (Innovation, Research, Education, Science & Society), the TIRIS team structures and deploys initiatives that promote interdisciplinarity between the various players in the Toulouse area and its region.

Our missions: to connect, coordinate and promote

Design and implement calls for projects to support innovative, interdisciplinary research.

• Coordinate and monitor winning projects, supporting researchers in their development and implementation.
• Deploying measures to support innovation and scientific development, to enhance the impact of research on society.
• Forging links between laboratories, teacher-researchers and non-academic players (local authorities, businesses, associations, citizens’ groups, etc.) to encourage the co-construction of solutions to contemporary challenges.
• Promoting the programme’s advances within the academic, institutional and socio-economic communities, by developing strategic partnerships.

By building bridges between research, education, innovation and society, the TIRIS team is creating synergies between the players in the Toulouse university and research area, in order to create a dynamic, forward-looking ecosystem.
